Sugarwood Coffee is a family owned coffee roaster located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.

After years of admiring and playing with roasts at home, owners Anthony and Amanda Welsch launched the Sugarwood website in 2020. At that point, they put their Fresh Roast and Behmor aside. It was time to graduate to larger equipment and bigger batches. Each bag of Sugarwood Coffee is still hand-roasted and inspected by the team in Farragut, Tennessee.

We recognize a big part of the coffee experience is experimentation. Because of that, we try to do more than just sell you a roast or selection of roasts that we think make great coffee. We also offer up educational articles, coffee reviews and more. Sugarwood is about coffee appreciation.
